Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Minister of Economy of the UAE discussed issues of expanding cooperation

On the sidelines of the 8th meeting of the World Summit of Governments in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev met with the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Taouk Al-Marri, Trend reports with reference to Kabar.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the talks, the parties discussed topical issues of further expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and the practical implementation of a number of joint projects in the field of agriculture, energy, tourism and other areas of joint interaction.

At the same time, the Kyrgyz side noted the need to hold the 2nd meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Emirati Commission, expand trade and economic cooperation through regular mutual visits of business delegations, business forums, expert meetings within the framework of the Business Council of the Kyrgyz Republic-UAE, intensify the work of the joint Working Expert Group on the Intergovernmental Accelerator.

A separate topic of conversation between the parties was the planned visit of the UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Tauk Al-Marri with a business delegation of the UAE to the Kyrgyz Republic in the first half of this year.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close working contacts with a view to the practical implementation of areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
