Gazprom Neft and Tyumen will jointly develop technology promotion standards in the UAE

The authorities of the Tyumen region (more than 55% of Russian oil and 85% of gas are produced in the region) together with Gazprom Neft will develop approaches and standards for promoting Russian technologies in the oil and gas production market in the Middle East, incl. UAE.

This was stated by the Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region A. Panteleev.

He said that cooperation with Gazprom Neft will help “collect new technological chains for the challenges that Russian companies and companies that produce in the United Arab Emirates have.”

A. Panteleev added that this will also make it easier for companies to enter this market, Gazprom Neft will help “to develop approaches and standards for promoting our technologies.”

The Tyumen region, for its part, intends to create conditions for the unification of companies and the creation of a model for promoting their products to the Middle East market.

The goal is to shorten the time of project implementation as much as possible.

A. Sakevich, Director General of the Oil and Gas Cluster Association, noted that the UAE and the Middle East markets used to mainly use technologies for the production and exploration of Big Four hydrocarbons. However, thanks to Gazprom Neft’s work in this market, “the cluster began to build a similar model for entering the UAE market through ADNOC (United Arab Emirates National Oil Company).
