Georgia and UAE introduce visa-free regime for each other

A visa-free regime has begun to operate between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was reported by the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

“Ordinary passport holders of both countries can enter without a visa, transit through and stay in the territory of the state of the other side for no more than 90 days from the date of entry,” the announcement says.

It is reported that the visa-free regime was introduced as part of a memorandum of understanding between the governments of Georgia and the UAE.

It is worth noting that Tbilisi and Abu Dhabi agreed to introduce a short-term visa-free regime in March. Previously, Georgian citizens could enter the United Arab Emirates only with diplomatic and official passports.
